The Academy of Plant and Animal Systems will prepare students for post-secondary opportunities in the 21st century world of agriculture.
The world of agriculture is quickly becoming one of the nation’s fastest growing and profitable fields. With an increasing global demand for food and decreasing land availability, there is renewed interest in this industry. Students in this academy will be better prepared to make decisions that have a far-reaching impact on our world. Academy students will have hands-on opportunities with plants and animals and experience the management side of agriculture. The two pathways students can choose between are: Horticulture Production or Veterinary and Animal Science.
